What are Polynucleotides (PNs)?

Treatment Plan
During your consultation, you will be given detailed information about the procedure, the potential side effects and any pre- and post-treatment advice. You will also have time to decide whether or not, given the information, you would like to proceed with the treatment recommended.
Every patient will have a bespoke treatment plan, but for optimal results, we recommend 3 treatments initially (2-3 weeks apart) followed by 1 session every 6 months for maintenance. Unlike Dermal filler treatment which offers instant results, PN treatment requires some patience and the best results are seen 2-3 months following treatment.

Results & Recovery time
As this is a regenerative treatment, the results are not instant but improvement can benoted from about three weeks and continues to improve over a twelve week period.
Patients report a general improvement in the radiance of the skin, feeling smoother and improved hydration. Pores, uneven colouration, texture, fine lines, wrinkles and scarring are reduced and softer in appearance. Additionally, PNs produce a mild increase in volume and tightening as an overall effect.
When hair loss is the concern being addressed, new hair growth can be noted and existing hair will be healthier.
Results will vary between individuals as the outcome is dependent upon the biological response of the individual and additional lifestyle factors.
Recovery time following this treatment is minimal and a relatively swift return to daily activities is possible. We do advise you not to have your treatment immediately prior to an important event as visible bumps may be present on your skin for 12-24 hours. However, temporary side effects include minor swelling, redness, bruising and tenderness and can take up to 2 days to resolve in some cases.
Can PN treatment be combined with other treatments?
Yes they can be combined. In fact it is recommended to combine with other treatments for optimal results. Polynucleotide treatment is often paired with Anti wrinkle treatment, Dermal filler treatment, Fractional Radio Frequency, Profhilo or Micro-needling.
